Other apps

Any app that lets you set a custom OpenAI or Anthropic API can use Rabah — chat clients, editor plugins, translation and automation tools.

Apps name them differently, but these are the three things to fill in:

SettingCommon namesValue
AddressBase URL, API URL, API Endpoint, Proxy URLSee below
KeyAPI Key, TokenYour Rabah key
ModelModel, Model nameA model name from the Model Plaza

The address depends on the API type chosen in the app:

API type in the appAddress
OpenAI / OpenAI-compatible / Custom OpenAIhttps://api.rabah.ai/v1
Anthropic / Claudehttps://api.rabah.ai

Prefer OpenAI-compatible when you can: it’s the most widely supported.

Some apps add /v1 to the address themselves and some don’t. If requests fail with 404 after following the table, look at the app’s own help or placeholder:

  • It shows https://api.openai.com/v1: use https://api.rabah.ai/v1.
  • It shows https://api.openai.com: use https://api.rabah.ai.

Many apps have a “Fetch models” or “Check” button. It calls /v1/models, which lists the models this key can use. If the list is empty, check the key’s “Lines & Models” setting.

With an official SDK you only change the address and the key. For example, OpenAI’s Python SDK:

from openai import OpenAI
client = OpenAI(
base_url="https://api.rabah.ai/v1",
api_key="YOUR_KEY",
)
reply = client.chat.completions.create(
model="MODEL_NAME",
messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Hello"}],
)
print(reply.choices[0].message.content)

Anthropic’s SDK works the same way, with base_url set to https://api.rabah.ai — no /v1.
