Quick start

Four steps and you’re up and running.

Open Rabah Hub, create an account and sign in.

From Recharge / Subscription in the left menu, choose:

  • Balance: pay for what you use.
  • Subscription: use the quota included in a plan.

You can have both. Each key decides which one it is billed to — see the next step.

Go to API Keys → Create API Key. The first time, a name is usually all you need; leave the rest at the defaults:

OptionDefaultWhat it means
Lines & ModelsAll lines and modelsThe key can call every model you have access to, including lines added later.
Billing sourceBalanceWith a subscription you can switch to it, and tick “Use balance automatically after the subscription quota runs out or expires”.
Quota, rate limits, expiryNoneSet these when you want to cap what this key can spend.

Copy the key once it is created; generated keys start with sk-. The key is your account credential: don’t share it and don’t commit it to a code repository.

In the key list, click Use Key, pick your client and copy its configuration:

  • General: the OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic base URLs, for most apps and SDKs.
  • Codex CLI, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenCode: the full configuration for each client.

The configuration shown already contains your key and the right address, so you can copy it as is.

Run this in a terminal, replacing YOUR_KEY with the key you just copied:

Terminal window
curl https://api.rabah.ai/v1/models \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"

A list of models means the key and the address both work. This request is free.

Now a real conversation — replace MODEL_NAME with a model name from the Model Plaza:

Terminal window
curl https://api.rabah.ai/v1/chat/completions \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"model": "MODEL_NAME", "messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Hello"}]}'

Once it succeeds, Usage in the Hub shows the model, tokens and cost of the call.
